Proactive & Reactive

Where there is either a lack of execution on initiatives or a need to increase the odds for their success, we can be of value. We work with organizations at every stage of their lifecycle. Our clients consists of executives and leaders in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Most often, the need is to recover from a fallen position or to mitigate the risks of future issues impeding success.

Prospective clients seek us out for two reasons: “Recovery and Performance” with their growth initiatives.

reactive Clients

These clients are typically stuck in a compulsive disorder loop where they perceive an issue to exist based upon performance indicators. Initially they attempt to resolve the issue by doing more of what they believe will resolve it. When doing more of what they know doesn’t resolve it, they then attempt to make a better effort of what they’ve been pursuing for resolution. Upon that not working, they then seek to do something different within the form of what they believe will resolve the issue. This loop will persist and creates a stuckness that will eventually result in metaphorical quicksand. The more they try, the more they remain and sink. The problems usually begin to materialize in other areas creating greater toxicity for the organization, which results in multiple performance indicators alerting to fallen positions.

Proactive Clients

These clients seek to prevent performance issues from arising in the future and secure their position, improve their standing, and ensure continued success of their organization. They don’t want the costs and frustrations that are associated with rectifying a problem once it has become so large that it shows up in performance metrics. They understand that preservation of their organization’s health is easier to develop and maintain rather than remedying issues that could have been avoided.

Once our clients determine they can’t figure out their problem internally or they realize they need assistance that is out of the domain of their expertise, then it is in their best interest to promptly seek outside help. The sooner they seek help, the more options they will have in resolving their problems. The longer issues or dormancy persist, the less options there will be to consider and the more severe and disruptive the options will be once a decision is made to address the matter.

Quality not quantity

We take on a small number of clients each year. The number of clients we serve at any given time is dependent upon their situation and needs. Services and goods born out of passion and desire, rather than necessity to survive, will only ever be able to provide a low volume of demand. No tangible or intangible good or service is ever produced effectively well in larger quantities. In order for it to meet the standard it must have those who possess the gifts of passion and desire to create it or have some involvement in assuring that standard is met. Not everyone shares that same passion and set of skills, therefore proper expectations must be set, as well as, a realization that automation can't exist when providing a certain standard of excellence.
